I hope everyone had a good and safe Easter holiday break. We’ve been working with a few customers lately on promotional flash drives with laser engraving. If you have an image that has a lot of detail laser engraving is definitly the option to choose as opposed to normal pad printing. For engraved corporate flash drives we are able to offer engraving as a free upgrade. You see the thing that happens when there is a lot of detail to be branded is that the ink in the nozel of our pad printers tend to get clogged up leading to a smudged result in branded flashdrives. With laser engraving though the effect is different because the high heat laser beam is computer controlled and allows for a lot more detail. Just check out the Australian Emblem crest in the image below which is one that we did for a government agency recently. We managed to get almost all the little details in the space of a flashdrive.
