I came across some of the coolest marketing mail outs ever whilst surfing the internet. These mail out items are absolutely amazing in both design and execution. These examples really put many Aussie mail outs to shame. For far too long Aussies, have had to put up with mail outs that look like they were designed by monkeys. Check them out here and be prepared to "BE INSPIRED!"

The Worlds Best Mail Out Items

1) How often do you receive a mail out in the post that advertises an offer which is valid for a limited time. All the time right? Well this particular idea takes this to another level. You see this special offer for a discount for an Indian cosmetic company is actually embossed onto a bamboo leaf. If you hold off too long from redeeming the coupon, the leaf literally dries up, crumbles up and disappears.

2) Karate CHOP! What better way to advertise your local business which teaches Karate, than with a thin piece of wood which requires you to chop in half. The wood is very thin of course, so almost everyone can chop it down into two. If you struggle with chopping this piece of wood into two to mail in the coupon, then you definitely should be signing up for classes.

3) The best way to promote an eco message to turn off your lights? Have your message printed onto a glow in the dark pack. Very witty right?

4) This mail out idea by Jeep vehicles really wanted to show off the vehicles outdoor credentials. To do that, they did a mail out that included a piece of rock from another country. If you returned the rock (and your contact details) to Jeep, you can get free hotel accommodation.

5) If you opened your mail box and you received these little green figures, you may be thinking toy solders. However these are not just toy solders but are actually children, playing, riding bikes and throwing balls. This effort was by UNICEF to highlight the plight of Child solders. This is a very chilling and emotive piece of marketing by UNICEF.

6) My favourite of all these amazing mail outs. This is by Land Rover. It is a survival guide for the Arabian Desert. This mail out was sent to 5000 homes. The amazing thing? Well this mail out can be eaten! Not that you would want to though, after it has been handled by the mailman and have been left outside in your letterbox for an extended time. Apparently it has the nutritional equivalent of a cheeseburgers. The package also reflects light and can be used as a safety reflector.
