The Marshmallow man first seen in the original Ghostbusters turns 30 this year. Originally released in 1984 the Marshmallow man back then was an amazing visual treat for movie goers and the character soon became an 80's icon in its own right. To celebrate the event there have been a raft of promotional toys and products that have been released. The concepts with the most votes gets officially produced as an authentic Lego product). This Lego Marshmallow man is 13 inches tall with a scary big smile. Built with around 1800 pieces it is one awesome toy.

Limited Edition Album Release Complete With Photos

Now this particular memento is rather unique. It is a full vinyl soundtrack. (for those who do not know, vinyl means a record. They were popular before Compact Discs). The most amazing thing about this product? Well other than full colour glossy photos the disc itself actually smells like a Marshmallow. Rather cool huh?

Only 3000 pieces will be produced, and it comes with a 6 inch Stay Puft Marshmallow Man promotional toy.

If the album and the smell of Marshmallows coming from it is making you hungry, then you can satisfy your hunger with a Krispy Kreme anniversary doughnut.

Krispy Kreme recently released anniversary doughnuts, which aside from seeming like an arbitrary cross-promotion, looked and tasted great. You can’t eat this marshmallow record, but you can at least sniff it until it puts you in the mood to shamefully go to town on an entire jar of marshmallow fluff.
