The Ice Cream brand, Ben & Jerry's needs little to no introduction. I thought I take a fun look at how this delicious ice cream brand utilises products and merchandise in its promotional and marketing efforts. Little did I realise that this fun brand is responsible for some of the most outrageously amusing promotional gifts that I have ever seen.

Brief History of Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream

Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream is one of the most popular and beloved brands in ice cream history. It was founded in 1978 by Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, two childhood friends from New England with a passion for making ice cream. Their original goal was to create a fun place where people could enjoy good ole fashioned homemade flavoured ice creams.

Today, they have expanded their shop into an international brand that produces over 500 different flavours of premium quality creamy and chunky flavours such as Chunky Monkey, Cherry Garcia and Caramel Swirl Crunch. Ben & Jerry's unique blend of cookie chunks, fruits, candy pieces and nuts makes them the tastiest treat around, while their “The Bernie Foundation” focuses on supporting education programmes for global humanitarian issues such as animal rights and climate change.

Ben & Jerry’s sweet treats continue to inspire joy amongst consumers all across the globe since it serves up more than just rich churned dairy delights; but also a commitment to equal civil rights for all .

A Pint Lock follows it. What? Yes, a Pint lock. This device works much like a bike lock with a 3 digit manual rotary lock. It attaches to the top of a standard-sized tub of Ben & Jerry's ice cream, and it locks it down to ensure no one gets to eat your ice cream.
