AIf you follow our blog regularly you'll know that here at Cubic Promote we love our branded sneaker collaborations. They can be a great example of co-branding done right for limited edition promotional events or anniversaries. Once again, custom sneakers deliver the goods, albeit this time these are a unique artistic customisation rather than part of a full campaign.

 Promotional Shoes With Custom Branding

Fans of early Nintendo gaming and classic Nike Air Jordan sneaker style will undoubtedly be keen to check out these shoes that manage to combine the durability of the Air Jordans with the recognisable brand colours of the NES game system (complete with "cartridges" on the tongues). What makes these custom shoes particularly interesting is how they manage to combine classic designs with recycled material to achieve a product that looks like the perfect union between two great brands.

The Nike Air Jordan body is in a stylish light grey that perfectly matches the old school controllers gamers no doubt remember fondly. The red, blacks, and greys are heavily associated with classic Nintendo designs so the colours help set these sneakers apart from standard Air Jordans. There's also a pressable D-pad and buttons on the backs of the shoes that have been recycled from old controllers, which adds to the authenticity of this collaboration.

To complete the branding mashup there are cartridge style badges on the shoe tongues and even a fun little "Select - Start" printed on the custom shoelaces. Unfortunately for around $1600 AU a pair, these quirky Nike and Nintendo mashups aren't the most affordable custom shoes around - but they are unique and will undoubtedly get noticed by gaming and sneaker fans alike!
