It is not unusual nowadays, to have custom-themed merchandise for carmakers. Mercedes, Porsche, and others do it exceptionally well. What is unusual is vehicle manufacturers who create merchandise for each line of cars they release. Check out this example by the car company Mini.

Use of Heritage in Design

Designers often integrate meaningful and interesting aspects of heritage into their designs in order to evoke a strong emotional response. A popular example of this is the use of detailed engravings or images reminiscent of a certain country, culture or time period to acknowledge or pay tribute to the legacy left behind by previous generations.

Whether it's art nouveau patterns on furniture pieces, printed images inspired by ancient Mesopotamian mosaics in interior settings or an old-fashioned font on packaging labels — there are many ways designers can incorporate heritage into everyday objects and utilities that bring people closer together while providing an expression of appreciation and admiration for our inherited cultural treasures.

The scope of design elements within each culture varies from style to form, texture, color palettes, routine labor methods and geographical knowledge — all essential contributors towards understanding important practices across different areas throughout history.

Heritage may also be preserved through activities shared between multiple generations such as sewing samplers with meticulous counting for needlework that was originally introduced as early as the 16th century; metalworking techniques utilized since medieval times; beadworks previously used by indigenous tribes for numerous spiritual occasions.

Alligator hide stitching once practiced among nomadic herders living in isolated parts of Mexico hundreds years ago — designers today implement similar processes when creating beautiful artifacts depending on specific context needs while highlighting long-standing traditions at once. Every business has a heritage or an Origin. Draw on that as inspiration for designing appealing merchandise. Mini does this exceptionally well, with its colours and branding.

Focus Your Merchandise

Mini takes custom-branded merchandise one step further. The products they have on offer are firstly select items. These are not merely freebie giveaways. Secondly, all their items emphasise fun. Big colours and lots of fun.

Mini though takes it one step further to focus the products on fans of the car brand. Their iconic vehicle, the Mini Cooper, has several variants.

  • The 60th Anniversary edition
  • The Regular Cooper editions
  • The High-Performance JCW editions.

For each variant, there is a new, unique range of products. No other car manufacturer I have come across has such a focused set of promotional products.
