With 98 percent UV blocking rate and 30+ UV protection index, you will be safe from the sun's rays on those especially hot Aussie days. It is machine washable, but care should be taken as the edge may loosen and curl after constant use. Take care not to bleach, fold when hard, leave in high temperature/humidity for a long time, or put it in the dryer.
