Custom printed torches on the end of mini keyrings have always been one of our best selling products. Its easy to see why! Custom branded keyrings by themselves are appealing, torches by themselves are also appealing as promotional products. Combine the two together and you get a product that not only looks great but is extremely functional too.

All our keyring lights can be branded with your logo and over the years we have now almost phased out conventional bulb lights. We still have 1 or two styles that uses conventional light bulbs but we left those in our catalogue purely as a retro novelty product. They are still effective at illuminating of course but no where near as effective as LED technology. LED lights are very effective as torches. They emit a lot more light at higher intensity yet they only consume a fraction of the amount of battery as conventional light bulbs. How they do it is essentially the energy consumed by LED light is not wasted on heat. Conventional bulbs waste a lot of battery energy in the form of heat and not light.

LED promotional keyring lights have been used by some of our clients as not just promotional items but as safety devices. An example would be a college where the teachers were concerned about the safety of students afterclass at night. As an additional safey precaution the teachers gave out little keyring lights so that the students can carry them around with them and use them after hours. Little keyring lights have been popular with corporates too who use them in conferences simply as a little mini memento to take away with them. At the moement we stock a range of keyring lights that can be engraved with your logo in the case of metal cased lights or pad printing in the case of plastic brandable keyring lights.

So how does LED keyring lights work? WEll LED stands for: Light emitting diodes. Well think of them as circuit boards only tiny. They light up because of electron movement. (from batteries of course) This movement creates light that creates the LED as we know it. Why is it better than a light bulb? Unlike bulbs they do not have material or matter that burns. A lightbulb works because there is filament material inside it that literally burns in order to create light. This makes light bulbs extremely inefficient in turning energy into light. It also makes the light bulb extremely prone to burning out and having a short lifespan. An LED light gets around this quite easily.

There is one thing to keep in mind with LED lights though. More often than not they emit a very white light. So if you are a bit nostalgic like myself and love the warm yellow glow that old bulbs emit then you may be in for a dissapointment.

If you are having a conference a nifty idea would be to use these as a promotional product for your potential and existing clients to remember you by. Why not have a few doezn of these promotional keyring torches turned on and left on a desk (surrounded with your pamphlets and staff members of course) to attract visual attention? They do not cost much and with the increased light emitting from your tradeshow booth you may poentially draw in a larger crowd than you normally would. So all you need to do is have some fancy fliers and a great team to finish off your presentation of your product or service. Other good ideas for custom kechain lights is to use them as fund raising products. They are always lower in price than what recipients expect which makes them awesome as a fund raising product. Just in case fyi all our keyring lights come packed with batteries.
