Custom Tea Infusers: Unique Corporate Gifts for Tea Lovers

Last Updated: 30 September 2026

Key Points

  • Tea infusers make the most sense for audiences who already drink loose-leaf tea, including staff, clients, hospitality guests, and wellness-focused recipients.
  • Stainless steel is a practical choice because it is durable, reusable, and easy to incorporate into compact infuser designs.
  • Novelty shapes can make an infuser memorable, but usability should come before choosing the strangest design available.
  • Tea infusers can be paired with loose-leaf tea, mugs or drink bottles to create a more complete corporate gift.

Tea infusers are an interesting promotional product because they sit somewhere between practical drinkware and novelty merchandise. Over the years, designers have created infusers shaped like astronauts, ducks, animals, and even the Loch Ness Monster. They are fun examples of how an everyday product can become a conversation starter.

For corporate gifting, though, we would take the idea one step further: choose an infuser that people will actually use after the novelty wears off.

Why give a tea infuser instead of another mug?

Mugs are one of the most familiar corporate gifts, but many office kitchens already have plenty. A tea infuser gives loose-leaf tea drinkers something different without becoming overly complicated. It can suit:

  • Staff welcome packs
  • Client gifts
  • Wellness campaigns
  • Hotels and hospitality businesses
  • Tea and food brands
  • Conferences with smaller recipient groups
  • Winter promotions

We currently supply the EasyClip Tea Infuser, a stainless-steel infuser designed to clip onto the edge of a mug. It comes individually boxed and can be branded with a logo.

What makes a good tea infuser?

The first question should be how easy it is to brew and clean. A useful infuser should:

  • Hold loose tea without releasing excessive leaves into the drink
  • Allow water to circulate the tea
  • Fit the intended mug or bottle
  • Be easy to remove after brewing
  • Be simple to rinse and reuse
  • Have enough space for practical branding

Stainless steel works particularly well for reusable infusers. Our current EasyClip model uses stainless steel with a fine mesh section and a clip that attaches to most mugs.

Standalone infuser or tea-infuser bottle?

An infuser does not necessarily have to be a separate accessory. For a more substantial corporate gift, consider drinkware with the infuser built in. Our product catalogue has included the Natura Bamboo Vacuum Bottle, a 500ml double-wall stainless-steel bottle with a removable tea infuser and strainer. The choice depends on the campaign:

  • Standalone infuser: Better when you want a compact gift that can be used with the recipient’s existing mug.
  • Infuser bottle: Better for a higher-value gift where portability and presentation matter.
  • Tea gift set: Better when you want the recipient to have everything required to use the product immediately.

Should you choose a quirky custom shape?

An astronaut hanging from a mug or a little creature floating in the cup will certainly attract attention.

That can work beautifully when the shape relates to the organisation.

For example:

  • An animal charity could use an animal-inspired design.
  • A space or science organisation could use an astronaut theme.
  • A marine organisation could explore sea-creature shapes.
  • A character-driven consumer brand could incorporate its mascot.

However, fully custom shapes can require bespoke manufacturing, higher minimum quantities and longer production times. For most corporate campaigns, an existing infuser with clean logo branding will be easier to order and more economical. If you are considering a custom mould, start planning well before the campaign date.

Pair the infuser with the tea

An empty tea infuser can feel slightly incomplete as a gift. Pairing it with tea gives recipients an immediate reason to use it. We currently supply branded loose-leaf tea options, including Australian herbal tea tins containing approximately 45g of tea.

A simple corporate tea set could include:

  • A branded tea infuser
  • Loose-leaf tea.
  • A mug or reusable cup.
  • A small printed card explaining the tea.
  • Branded gift packaging.

For a winter client gift, this feels much more intentional than combining several unrelated promotional products.

What I Suggest to Procurement Managers

Tea infusers have a smaller branding area. That’s why when a client wants to print 3 logos or big full-colour graphics on them, I advise them right away of the cons. If possible, I suggest you go for simple artwork, like:

  • A short company name
  • A simplified logo
  • One strong brand colour
  • Branded packaging if you need more space for messaging

Trying to squeeze a detailed slogan and contact information onto the infuser itself will usually make the branding harder to read.

Make tea time part of the gift

Promotional tea infusers work because they connect the branding with a small everyday ritual. You can make them playful, premium or simple, but the strongest option is still the one recipients can easily brew with, clean and use again.
