RUSU wanted merch to boost awareness of their Compass Drop-Centre, a peer-to-peer welfare, information, and referral service. So they ordered 1,000 customised aluminium bottles from us. Alice Borja, our account manager, helped prepare the bottles and kept the branding bold enough to catch the eye at a glance.

Why They Picked Bottles
They chose these metal drink bottles because they’re practical, and members can take them to classes and across campus. Their team specifically requested the colour purple because it aligns with the university’s branding. So we immediately provided a free quote and sent an artwork mockup so they could see what the bottles would look like after production. After securing their approval, we started production immediately.
Results
This is where the order got more interesting. Students started asking members about the bottles and, from there, about RUSU itself. RUSU saw more enquiries after the bottles went into circulation, particularly from students who first came across the branding through friends, events, and everyday campus use. That is what we liked about this one. Alice helped produce a bottle people actually wanted to carry, and the students did the rest simply by using it. For a student union trying to grow its membership, that is a pretty handy job for one drink bottle.
