The Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council (QPRC) sought impactful promotional items to raise awareness for its Winter Safety Campaign. To keep the community safe during the cold months, they ordered 1,500 custom-printed ice scrapers, featuring the QPRC logo, the NSW logo, and the “Towards Zero” campaign message to promote road safety. During community safety workshops and local outreach programs, the QPRC team distributed branded ice scrapers. Residents loved how useful these tools are. The ice scrapers helped clear the frost and ice from car windshields, promoting safety while driving.

Results:

• 7% increase in message recall was recorded through post-event surveys, with attendees more likely to remember key road safety lessons. 

By choosing a practical giveaway, such as ice scrapers, QPRC not only promoted their winter safety campaign but also reinforced their commitment to ensuring community safety throughout the colder months.
