As part of Cubic Promote’s push to be a more sustainable supplier, we have pushed through initiative after initiative. Our initiatives have included being certified as Carbon Neutral and piloting a uniform clean and mend program. Our apparel recycling program is the last and final stage for custom-branded garments that have reached the end of their useful life. This isn’t your average recycling effort; it’s a clever, earth-friendly service that looks after the environment and keeps your brand’s privacy tightened.
What’s the Deal?
Have you ever wondered where your promotional gear goes after it’s done its job? We have, and we know it ends up in the bin. That’s why we’ve created this service for clothes bought from Cubic Promote. We saw a problem—too many branded shirts and jackets heading to the tip—and decided to fix it.
How Does It Happen?
Step 1: Picking Up No Longer Needed Clothing
If you’ve got Cubic Promote apparel sitting around, perhaps your event is over, and your team has the uniforms at home that are not being used. They could be branded tee shirts, custom hoodies, or corporate apparel uniforms. Have them bring them into your office for us to pick up. For a small fee, we’ll come to have it picked up.
Step 2: Repurposed
Here’s where it gets good. Our partners in Melbourne repurpose the old clothing. Your clothing gets shredded and turned into:
- Insulation for Homes: The clothing is shredded and then compacted to create insulation panels. The panels are resold to installers, who install them in Australian homes.
- Plush Toys with Charm: Or maybe your old uniforms become cuddly toys. Seriously, they’re soft little mates that kids love, perfect for gifts or charity. It’s a recycling twist that feels good to talk about.
