The final two days of the Australian Gaming Expo in Darling Harbour, Sydney, Australia, wrapped up with a bang. For Cubic Promote, they were nothing short of incredible. We’ve exhibited at numerous events around Australia. This year’s AGE felt a bit different. We went all out, combining eye-catching merchandise (branded with our own logo, of course) with meaningful conversations. The results? They speak for themselves.
From the moment the doors opened on Day 2, our stand was buzzing. By the time Day 3 closed, we’d cemented ourselves as the busiest booth at the show outside of the gaming machine displays. And it wasn’t just foot traffic — the volume of qualified leads on our registration system was wll into the hundreds. We walked away with makes this one of our most successful expos yet.
Our Products Were Everywhere
Walking the show floor, it was hard not to spot something we’d supplied. We were the show’s official suppliers for:
- Lanyards hanging around the necks of attendees.
- Uniforms are worn by staff on the floor.
When you’re in the business of branded merchandise, seeing your work being used and enjoyed in real-time is the ultimate proof of impact.
On the Floor – What We Spotted
AGE is always a feast for the senses, and this year was no different. Among the highlights from other exhibitors were:
- Promotional pens, packs of tissues, and personalised bottles.
- Stands handing out sweet treats and snacks — from promotional jelly beans to ice cream, pies, beer, and soft drinks.
- A mix of creative branded giveaways that showed just how diverse the promotional product industry can be.
What We Handed Out
If you visited us, you probably walked away with something in your hands — and likely a smile on your face. Our giveaway lineup included:
- Logo Printed Tote bags – big enough to carry all your expo loot.
- Branded bottles – reusable and a clear hit with attendees.
- Promotional pens – a classic that never goes out of style.
- Mint tins – because fresh breath matters at events.
- Micro notebooks – perfect for jotting down ideas on the go.
- Catalogues – to give people a closer look at what we can do.
It’s no surprise our booth was a magnet for attendees — we had something for everyone, and every item was a real example of the quality we deliver.
The Results
Aside from having the liveliest non-gaming booth, we walked away with:
- A substantial volume of qualified leads is ready to become long-term clients.
- A stack of meaningful conversations about branded merchandise strategies for gaming, hospitality, and events.
- Strong brand visibility across the show floor thanks to our products being in constant use.
For us, this wasn’t just about handing out freebies — it was about showing what thoughtful, well-branded merchandise can achieve.
