You'd have to have spent the last decade under a rock not to know the smiling face of Manu Feildel, one of Australia's favourite television chefs. Best known for his successful stint co-hosting My Kitchen Rules, Manu is an accomplished restauranteur and chef outside the entertainment industry.

Learning About The Client's Needs

One of Manu's recent passions has been developing a range of delicious sauces, 'The Sauce by Manu,' after his "where's the sauce?" pleas became something of a catchphrase on My Kitchen Rules, this did seem like a natural progression. Of course, many home-prepared dishes could use sauce, but creating a quality sauce after a long day at work is often beyond weary home chefs.

This is where The Sauce by Manu comes in; pre-packaged sauces made to Manu's recipes and exacting standards that customers purchase and add to classic meals like steak, lamb roast, grilled salmon, and more. Since its introduction in late 2019, The Sauce by Manu has become a popular Woolworths supermarket item for Aussie consumers and an essential buy for anyone hosting a dinner at home in the spirit of My Kitchen Rules.

Cubic Promote Produces Custom Cooler Bags

You might not know that Cubic Promote has been working with By Manu since its sauce range launch, producing promotional items for Manu and his team. The first branded items we made for By Manu were promotional cooler bags featuring logo decoration just in time for the launch of the sauce range. The goal of these bags was to present a functional item to recipients during launch promotions, and each bag needed to fit Manu's delicious sauces in them. Fortunately, we were able to match some lovely bag styles to By Manu's branding requirements, and we manufactured bags in both blue and white colours for the promotion.

We Assist With Quality Promotional T-Shirts

While these compact cooler bags are the promo gift of choice for Manu's sauces, we have recently started working with the team to produce a range of high-quality custom t-shirts featuring the distinctive 'By Manu' branding. One of the company's requests, when it came to the shirts, was that they needed to be good quality, the type of shirt their staff could wear without worrying about fading or fraying. Because the quality was so important to the client, we recommended using AS Colour shirts because the brand is known for its exquisite range of minimalistic clothing that is both high-quality and features responsibly sourced materials.

Another element of the t-shirt production that was important to the client was the shirts' colour. AS Colour produces an assortment of t-shirt colourways, including a blue that matches The Sauce by Manu brand colours perfectly. Using a digital print technique, we added The Sauce by Manu logo directly to the shirts and, well, they got approval from the sauce connoisseur himself!
