Channel 7 & Cubic Promote
The Seven Network Australia
About the Client
The Seven Network, also called Channel Seven or “Seven,” is Australia’s leading free-to-air television network. It is famous for covering current events, sports, and original dramas like Home & Away. Channel Seven also supports the community through its not-for-profit organisation, The Channel 7 Children’s Research Foundation, which funds research into childhood illnesses.
Our Brief
The Seven Network approached Cubic Promote for a customised order before Christmas 2021. They aimed to distribute Christmas gifts to children in hospitals or care facilities. The main product was a full-colour jigsaw puzzle suitable for primary and secondary school-aged kids. To meet a tight deadline for delivery before Christmas, we needed to produce and box the jigsaw locally.
Alongside the puzzles, the Seven Network required custom boxes, wrapping paper, and personalised Christmas cards. These items must be assembled and shipped to eight locations across NSW, SA, and QLD. The project was ambitious, especially in the weeks leading up to Christmas, but both teams were committed to creating something special for children in need.

Our Solution
The Seven Network provided excellent artwork, allowing Cubic Promote to focus on production and assembly. While we regularly sell boxed jigsaws, custom-printed boxes for fast-turnaround orders pose a unique challenge. Our digital print specialists worked to decorate and assemble the boxes while others printed the puzzle simultaneously.
Our paper print team produced the wrapping paper and cards, a demanding task during the holiday rush. Despite the tight timeline, both teams collaborated to pack and despatch the gifts on time. Each jigsaw was thoroughly wrapped and included a seasonal card from the Seven Network.
The result was a resounding success. The Seven Network team praised the gifts’ quality and packaging, turning this high-pressure project into a memorable achievement.
