Looking to the future, we want to play a small role in fostering the next generation of students studying in Australian schools. Please apply if you are either:

1) An Australian High School Student in Year 11 or 12?
or
2) A student studying in an Australian Tertiary institute for a diploma or degree?

Two Scholarships: High School and Tertiary

We’re excited to offer two $2,000 scholarships—one for a high school student in Year 11 or 12 and one for a college or university student.

We understand that involvement in extracurricular activities, whether through school clubs, local volunteering, or community-driven initiatives, plays a vital role in shaping well-rounded, future-focused leaders. That’s why we want to support students actively engaged in their schools and communities and show a genuine passion for making a difference.

Scholarship Details:

  • Eligibility for both Highschool and Tertiary:
    • High School: Year 11 or Year 12 students.
    • College/University: Full-time students (local or international) enrolled at an accredited Australian institution.
  • Focus: We’re looking for students actively involved in school clubs, local groups, or community organisations. Whether organising events, volunteering, or leading in your community, we want to hear how you are making a difference.
  • Prize: $2,000 scholarship to support your education and future goals.

How to Apply

To apply, please submit a 1–3 minute video via email that covers:

  • Your involvement in school or community activities (clubs, volunteering, leadership roles, etc.).
  • Why you are passionate about contributing to your school or community, and what impact you have made?
  • How will this scholarship help support your future academic and personal goals?

Application via email: Please include your Full Name, Name of School, Phone Number, and Projected Graduation Year along with your video submission.

Zhen Yuan
Curtin University

Congratulations to Zhen Yuan, who is our Cubic Promote Community Participation Scholarship Winner. Zhen is currently pursuing a Master of Mining Engineering at Curtin University (WASM – Western Australian School of Mines) and has made history as the first East Asian student to hold a core committee position, serving as Vice President of Activities for the 2025 WASM Committee.

In this role, he oversees the school’s full social and cultural program, including flagship events like Freakers and the Guild Ball, achieving some of the highest participation numbers in WASM’s history. Zhen is deeply committed to building inclusive spaces for local and international students, strengthening student life, and supporting a diverse team to deliver large-scale events. His dedication and leadership demonstrate genuine care for his community and a passion for creating meaningful impact.
