One Scholarships for Tertiary

We’re excited to offer one $5,000 scholarship for a college or university student.

We understand that involvement in extracurricular activities, whether through school clubs, local volunteering, or community-driven initiatives, plays a vital role in shaping well-rounded, future-focused leaders. That’s why we aim to support students who are actively engaged in their schools and communities and show a genuine passion for making a difference.

Scholarship Details

  • Eligibility: College/University: Full-time students (local or international) enrolled at a participating, accredited Australian institution.
  • Focus: We are seeking students dedicated to school clubs, local groups, or community organisations. Whether you are organising events, volunteering, or leading in your community, we want to hear how you are making a difference.
  • Award: A $5,000 scholarship to support your education and future goals.

How to Apply

To apply, please provide a written statement of up to 500 words that addresses the following:

  • Your involvement in school or community activities (clubs, volunteering, leadership roles, etc.).
  • Why are you passionate about contributing to your community, and the impact you have made?
  • How this scholarship will help support your future academic and personal goals.

Application via email: Please include your Full Name, Name of School, Phone Number, and Projected Graduation Year.

Submit your application by December 15th. The scholarship recipients will be announced on 20th of December 2026.

Winner June 2026: Emily So – University of Wollongong

Congratulations to Emily So, our Cubic Promote Community Participation Scholarship Winner. Emily is a final-year medical student at the University of Wollongong with a strong commitment to public health, leadership and community service.

Her achievements include:

  • Representing Australia at the United Nations 63rd Graduate Study Programme in Geneva
  • Working with the Victorian Department of Health during COVID-19
  • Supporting health and community projects in Cambodia, Vietnam and NSW
  • Founding Mollymook Mat, a self-funded initiative with over 130 local participants

Emily is recognised for her empathy, initiative and dedication to improving community wellbeing.

Winner June 2025: Zhen Yuan – Curtin University

Congratulations to Zhen Yuan, our Cubic Promote Community Participation Scholarship Winner. Zhen is currently completing a Master of Mining Engineering at Curtin University’s Western Australian School of Mines (WASM).

His achievements include:

  • Serving as Vice President of Activities for the 2025 WASM Committee
  • Becoming the first East Asian student to hold a core committee position
  • Organising major events including Freakers and the Guild Ball
  • Helping achieve some of the highest participation numbers in WASM’s history
  • Creating more inclusive experiences for both local and international students

Zhen’s leadership, commitment and focus on bringing students together have made a meaningful contribution to the WASM community.
