The Tambrey Tavern
The Tambrey Tavern is a well-known pub and event venue in Karratha, Western Australia. When venue manager Max Maloney needed custom-branded polo shirts quickly, our account manager Mary Haycell Aguirre stepped in to help make it happen.

Multiple Logos, One Polo Shirt
It’s not every day we get a polo shirt featuring four different brands! The Tambrey wanted black shirts with red piping along the collar placket, sleeves, and hem, plus five separate branding placements. Here’s how the logos were arranged:
- Left chest – White Hahn logo
- Right chest – The Tambrey Tavern logo in white and orange
- Right sleeve – Ray White logo
- Left sleeve – Blue and white AWH (Australia Wide Haulage) logo
- Upper back – White Hahn logo, positioned below the collar
The Challenge of Getting It Right
Having five branding placements on one shirt isn’t as straightforward as printing a single logo. Each design has its own colours, proportions and details, so there’s a risk of the finished garment looking too crowded.
There were a few things to consider:
- Keeping smaller lettering clear on the fabric
- Making sure each logo had enough space
- Balancing the different designs across the garment
- Maintaining a consistent appearance across all shirts
The order was also marked urgent, so Mary had to keep the delivery requirements in mind. With several branding details involved, getting everything organised within the available timeframe was particularly important.

Mary Got It Sorted, and Max Wants More!
All the hard work paid off! After the polo shirts arrived, Max emailed Mary to let her know they had arrived and called them “fantastic!” Max was so happy with the shirts that he said he’d be in touch soon to order a few more. For Mary and our team, knowing Max wanted more shirts was a great way to wrap up the project. We’d love to work with The Tambrey Tavern again!
