Ahead of their open-house event, the Queensland Institute of Business and Technology (QIBT), situated on Parklands Drive in Southport, partnered with Cubic Promote to create a memorable and informative giveaway. We delivered 2,000 branded USB flash drives, each pre-loaded with course guides, application steps, and campus information. These USBs were distributed to prospective students at the event, providing instant access to essential materials once they returned home. This simple, tech-savvy gesture not only reinforced QIBT’s modern approach but also kept the institution top-of-mind during the students’ decision-making process—highlighting their commitment to innovation, a key factor many students consider when selecting a school.

Results

  • According to our post-production survey, QIBT saw a significant increase in enrolment conversions—based on application tracking data—compared to their previous open-house event that did not include giveaways.
  • Higher recall reported during enrolment interviews, with over 50 new students referencing the USBs when asked how they accessed course info.
