The Challenge
2Connect Youth & Community needed items to give out to the youth attendees at a community development session they hosted at their 2Connect Centre in Southeast Sydney. To keep their audience engaged during the discussion, they ordered various stationery items, including notebooks, highlighters, and sticky notes. These items came with keyrings and are to be packed in custom eco totes.
Our Approach
To address 2Connect’s needs, Mary, one of our Creative Directors at Cubic Promote, recommended a selection of items for them to choose from. Their team decided on:
- 273 branded journal notebooks

- 700 personalised wooden keyrings
- 500 custom sticky notes in 75 x 75mm size

All their options were made from eco-friendly and recycled materials. And all these were custom printed with their logo.

Metrics & Results
On the day of the event, the 2Connect team placed the items on every seat. This is strategically done to create a warm and welcome atmosphere for their youth attendees during the event. As a result, the organisation achieved:
- 10% average increase in social media engagement, with youth attendees posting selfies of themselves with the giveaways they received and sharing their takeaways from the discussions.
- 9% growth in follower count across 2Connect’s social media platforms within one week after the event, driven by user-generated content and tag mentions of the branded items.
