Mary Haycell Aguirre-Cruz

Creative Director at Cubic Promote

Mary Haycell Aguirre-Cruz has more than seven years' experience in client communication and relationship management and is currently a Creative Director at Cubic Promote. She started with the company in March 2024 and advanced from cold calling to becoming a client relationship associate and then to account management before taking on her present position. Mary carries out work directly with corporate, government, educational and not-for-profit organisations on promotional merchandise and branded apparel projects; in her capacity she recommends products to clients, suggests branding options, handles the artwork, coordinates the orders, keeps track of the deadlines and deals with client communication. She is an expert in client relationship management, the selection of promotional products, branding techniques and the coordination of merchandise for events and campaigns.

Professional Experience

Mary started working at Cubic Promote in March 2024, beginning her career in cold calling before being transferred to a Client Relationship Associate position. During the first few months of her employment, she advanced to account management, where she began providing direct assistance to organisations in Australia regarding merchandise selection, branding requirements, production, and delivery.

Mary's experience in dealing with clients goes beyond that of providing promotional products; the more than seven years she has had in the field of client calling and customer communication has enabled her to develop a practical method of understanding briefs, of asking the right questions and of recommending products based on how they will actually be used.

Because of her role, she has gained firsthand experience in handling product selection, branding methods, budget, quantity, and delivery requirements. She works with a variety of organisations across different sectors, such as corporate businesses, government organisations, schools, charities, and event teams.

Mary's knowledge of her products includes those that are frequently ordered, such as drink bottles, tote bags, notebooks, pens, caps, power banks, clothing, umbrellas and technological products. She tells customers to take into account not just the item itself but also the impact of the branding method on its appearance and durability, for example with embroidery, full-colour printing and laser engraving.
