Officer Secondary College

Officer Secondary College in Victoria ordered a batch of custom Quax Ball Pens featuring its school logo and name. They chose a metallic red finish with silver accents and white printing, which matched the college’s branding.

Why Pens Are Pains

Getting branded pens right can be surprisingly fiddly, especially when the logo includes both an emblem and a full school name. You have only a small area to work with, and lettering that looks fine on a computer screen can become hard to read once printed on a pen. Then there’s the pen’s quality. Schools often need stationery for staff, meetings, and information packs, so choosing something comfortable to write with makes sense.

What Regina Did

Our account manager, Regina Mangubat, looked after the college’s Quax Ball Pen order. With the school name and emblem sharing a narrow printing area, the finished branding needed to be clear without looking cramped. The design used white lettering against the metallic red barrel, which made the college’s name easy to read. The pens also had details like:
  • Silver clips and tips
  • Decorative rings that worked well with the metallic finish.

The overall appearance was neat and fairly simple, which suited the school branding. Regina remained the college’s point of contact, and the transition team got back in touch with her once the order arrived.

Better Than Before

Their team confirmed that they’d received the pens and were very impressed with the quality. What made their feedback interesting was that they’d ordered branded pens several years earlier. They remembered those products and felt the new Quax Ball Pens were a noticeable improvement. It’s always good to hear that a customer is happy with an order, but this feedback meant a little more. The college had previous experience with branded stationery and could compare directly, so their comments were particularly encouraging for our team. They also mentioned that they’d be looking at ordering more pens in a couple of years.
