Highlighters for Marist College Emerald
Last Updated: 19 October 2026
Marist College Emerald wanted to give new students something small and useful to help them settle into orientation. Lauren Pienaar chose triangular highlighters for the College’s orientation activities, giving students something practical to use that day and keep for the year ahead. I was the account manager who helped Lauren organise the highlighters and get them ready for the new students coming through orientation.

Why I Suggested Highlighters
The triangular shape makes the highlighter easier to grip and gives students three colours in one compact piece. Each corner has its own tip, so they can switch colours quickly while working through notes, worksheets or study material. For Marist College Emerald, that same shape creates a larger central area for the school crest than a standard slim highlighter. It makes the branding easier to spot and gives the College a useful orientation item that can stay in students’ pencil cases throughout the year.
Delivered Ahead and Ready to Go
Lauren was especially happy with the timing. The highlighters arrived ahead of schedule, which meant the College had one less thing to worry about before orientation day. For my team and me, that early delivery gave the school more breathing room to get everything packed, sorted, and ready for the new intake.
Result: Coming Back for the Next Intake
When I checked in after the event, Lauren excitedly shared that the highlighters had been a hit. Even better, Marist College Emerald was already planning to bring them back for the next group of new students! We can’t wait to help Marist College Emerald get the next batch ready for their new intake! always feels good when a simple idea works well enough to come back for another year.
