M Events Group made a purchase with Cubic Promote to produce a high-energy promotional tool for their client, Lovisa. To support a series of vibrant live experiences and retail activations across Melbourne, the agency commissioned a bulk order of custom branded hacky sack balls. These tactile, nostalgic items were selected specifically to encourage movement and physical interaction during functions, perfectly aligning with Lovisa’s trend-setting brand identity.
Bulk Buying Advantage
M Events Group purchased 1,000 units. As a result they were able to secure a significantly lower price per unit, ensuring their marketing budget stretched further while maintaining a high volume of giveaways. This cost-effective investment allowed for widespread distribution across multiple event locations. During the branding process, our in-house design team ensured the Lovisa logo was precisely applied using specialised pad printing techniques, maintaining crisp detail on the woven surface of each ball.
Event Success
The activation was a resounding success, with staff observations noting a 2.6% increase in booth dwell time as participants engaged with the branded merchandise. The tactile nature of the hacky sacks served as an excellent icebreaker, facilitating organic conversations between brand ambassadors and potential customers. Why Joanna Recommends Hacky Sacks
As a branding technique specialist, Joanna highlights that products like hacky sacks offer a unique surface area that rewards high-contrast logos. She recommends this category for fast-paced event activations because the items are durable, easy to distribute in large volumes, and provide a sensory experience that digital marketing simply cannot replicate. Joanna’s focus on the technical execution ensures that even with the flexible nature of a bean-filled product, the brand integrity remains uncompromised throughout the product’s lifespan.
