WorkSafe ACT – “Sun Safety is Fly” Campaign
Last Updated: 6 February 2026
Client: WorkSafe ACT – the Office of the Work Health and Safety Commissioner, responsible for regulating and promoting workplace health and safety across the Australian Capital Territory.
What was ordered? 500 branded frisbees printed with the “Sun Safety is Fly” message and the WorkSafe ACT link.
Purpose? To promote sun safety awareness among young workers through an engaging, outdoor-friendly campaign.
How were the frisbees used?
WorkSafe ACT ordered 500 custom frisbees as part of their “Sun Safety is Fly” initiative — a campaign aimed at educating young workers about the importance of sun protection while working outdoors.
During every workplace visit, school events, or community expos they attended, they gave out these frisbees. Because it featured the website link, the recipients were encouraged to learn more about the initiative.
The fun, interactive nature of the frisbees helped make a serious message more relatable and memorable, particularly for younger audiences. Participants often used them at outdoor events and worksites, further spreading the visibility of the campaign.
This creative giveaway was an effective way for WorkSafe ACT to connect with young workers, promoting awareness, encouraging safe habits, and keeping the message of sun safety front and centre.
