About the Client
The Hawks are one of Australia’s most recognised sporting clubs, with a loyal national fan base and a strong match-day culture. From stadium attendance to member engagement, the club focuses on keeping supporters connected both on and off the field.
The Requirement
Ahead of a series of home games and member engagement activities, the Hawks wanted a low-cost, high-impact item that could be handed out in large volumes. The goal was to increase everyday brand visibility while giving fans something they would actually use and keep. The item needed to be easy to distribute at entry points, membership packs, and fan events, without adding complexity to operations.
Process
The Hawks selected 1,000 custom-printed stickers, featuring bold club branding and messaging. Stickers were chosen for their versatility, affordability, and strong appeal across all age groups.
They were distributed across match days, included in member packs, and handed out during promotional activations around the stadium.
How the Stickers Were Used
Fans quickly put the stickers to use across a range of personal items:
- Drink bottles and gym gear

- Car windows and personal accessories
Because the stickers were lightweight and easy to apply, they spread quickly across different environments. The campaign created immediate and visible fan engagement:
- Stickers appeared across fan gear and personal items within days of distribution.
- Increased brand presence outside the stadium, particularly in gyms, offices, and public spaces
