Introduce Country & Outback Health
Country & Outback Health is a community health organisation based at 19 Mortlock Terrace, Port Lincoln, SA, providing health and wellbeing services to regional and remote communities across South Australia. Tara Welsh, their Community Engagement Officer, Marketing, and CDC Coordinator, contacted Cubic Promote to pull together a set of branded items for an upcoming community event, needing products that would appeal to a mixed audience and carry the organisation’s identity clearly.
Client’s Brief: 3 Branded Items on One Quote
Getting three different product types to look consistent takes more artwork coordination than a single-product order. Each item here carries the same full-colour landscape logo, but the surface, size, and print method are different across the bag, the notepad, and the slime cup. So our team set up the artwork separately for each product to make sure the logo read correctly on every format.
We confirmed all three products and branding requirements first, then sent a free quote and moved straight into artwork preparation. Once Tara approved the mock-ups, all three products went into production and we shipped the finished order from our Sydney warehouse to Port Lincoln.
- The non-woven tote bag carries the logo, contact number, and website address across the front panel in a clean layout.
- The magnetic notepad has the landscape logo and tagline “Healthier, happier communities.” printed on the header card, with lined pages below.
- The slime comes in a clear cylindrical cup with a full wrap label carrying the logo in full colour against a white background.
Client Reaction With The Final Products
Tara followed up with Shealeigh after the event:
“All good with the slime, we ended up using it at an event and all was good.”
For Country & Outback Health, our account manager, Shealeigh Keeney, finds this kind of brief particularly rewarding because the items go directly into the hands of the community the organisation serves, rather than sitting in a corporate gift box. , she managed the coordination across three product types and made sure the artwork was consistent before anything went to print. Her approach kept the process straightforward for Tara, whose role spans marketing, community engagement, and program coordination all at once.
Why Community Health Event Prefers Merchandise
A single branded item at a community event covers one moment. A thoughtfully chosen mix covers several. The tote bag gives people something to carry other items home in, so the logo travels beyond the event itself. The magnetic notepad is something people stick on a fridge and use across the week, keeping the organisation’s name and contact details in plain view at home. The slime is the item that gets picked up first, especially by younger visitors or families, and it creates a moment of interaction that a pen or a pamphlet rarely does.
For community health organisations, not everyone at an event responds to the same thing, so having a practical item, an at-home item, and a playful item gives the team more ways to start a conversation and leave a lasting impression with the people they are there to serve.
