6 Other Uses for Promotional Items

By 9 March 2015July 24th, 2025Suggestions for Promotional Items

Like many people around the country, I am sure you would have been to an exhibition or an event and found yourself lucky enough to come across some promotional item gear. Here I have listed out 6 top alternate uses for promotional items other than for what they were originally intended for. Check them out on the list below. I am sure you will agree that some of these ideas are really handy.

Great Alternate Uses for Products

These items listed below do not need to be promotional products of course and can merely be any similar type of product. These ideas are great to use around the home and office. Okay, here goes the list: The Top 6 Useful Ideas around the Home.

1. Rubber Band Door Lock Opener – Are you moving house or have a door that is in a high traffic area where you would need the door to not only be unlocked but be able to swing open and shut? Well this is the idea for you. Simply take a good thick rubber band and have it crossed around the door lock bolt per image below. Simple easy idea right? silicone wristbands work just as well.

2. Still on rubber bands. If you have ever tried to paint a wall then you would know the hassle of knowing where to rest your paint brush. Well simply get a good decent rubber band and wrap around the paint can. Presto, this becomes an instant rubber band resting place for your brush.

3. Do you think that a staple remover is only good for removing staples? Well think again. They are terrific tools to assist in prying open keyrings so that you can actually use the keyring for keys.

4. Sticky Notes or Post It Notes. Is there anything that these delightful pieces of glued paper cannot do? Sticky notes actually are a great idea to help you remove dirt and grime from keyboards. Simply insert sticky side down into your dirty keyboard grooves to remove dust. ps. I have done this on many occasions, and it is so strange as to how may eyebrows actually fall in. It is kinda gross.

5. A sun glass box that you typically get free with a pair of spectacles or sunglasses is a great item to store cables. Earphones, lightning connectors, standard usb cables are a great idea. It is an even better idea for when you are traveling out and about.

6. Do you love the look of suede on your shoes or bags? Then this is the item for you. A nail file is perfect at removing dirt. Now I do recommend a softer nail file so that you do not scratch the suede leather.
