Our Client Profile: Panasonic Australia
Panasonic Australia is one of the world’s most recognised electronics brands, with a strong presence across home and commercial air conditioning in Australia. Suel Machado from their Sydney team contacted Cubic Promote to order a run of branded umbrellas for their air conditioning campaign, specifically featuring both the Panasonic Air Conditioning identity and the nanoeX air purification technology brand side by side on the canopy.
Panasonic’s Order Brief
Fitting two distinct brand identities onto a single canopy without one overpowering the other takes careful artwork planning. The Panasonic wordmark and “Air Conditioning” descriptor sit on one panel group in white, while the nanoeX logo with its blue icon and “Protected By” label sits on the adjoining panels. The dark charcoal canopy gives both logos a clean background to read against, and the contrast between the white Panasonic text and the blue nanoeX mark means each brand holds its own without competing.
We confirmed the product and artwork requirements first, then sent a free quote. Because the order was going out as a corporate campaign item in bulk, the per-unit price came down to a level that suits a promotional run of this kind. After that, our artwork team set up both logos across the canopy panels and submitted a digital mock-up for sign-off before production began. Once Suel approved everything, the umbrellas went into production and we shipped the finished order from our Sydney warehouse.
Our Process To Panasonic’s Branded Umbrellas
During a follow-up call, Haley from our team checked in with Chris at Industrial Lay to confirm the order was progressing well. Chris confirmed everything was running smoothly and praised the level of service throughout the process.
Our account manager, Shealeigh Keeney, managed the order on the Cubic Promote side. Shealeigh enjoys working on projects where the merchandise carries real weight for the brand behind it, and a campaign item for a company like Panasonic, where brand consistency across every touchpoint matters, is exactly that kind of order. Haley supported the follow-up communication to make sure the client had everything they needed at each stage.
Why anUmbrella Worth Considering In Your Campaign
A umbrella does something most corporate gifts cannot. It goes into public spaces. A branded pen stays on a desk, but an umbrella goes to a car park, a footy oval, a trade event, or a rainy commute, and the logo goes with it. For a brand like Panasonic, where name recognition is already strong, a well-printed umbrella reinforces that familiarity in everyday settings rather than just in a boardroom or at a trade stand.
The extra large format also matters as a standard-size umbrella gives a modest print area, but a canopy with eight panels and 75cm ribs gives the artwork room to breathe. Both the Panasonic and nanoeX branding read clearly from a distance, which is exactly what a campaign item needs to do when it is out in the world rather than sitting on a shelf.
