Who Is Aussie Broadband?

Aussie Broadband is one of Australia’s fastest-growing telecommunications providers, known for straightforward pricing and strong customer service. Caly Maguire from their team contacted Cubic Promote to organise plush toys that aligned with Symbio brand, a campaign-specific identity the company was running at the time.

How We Deliver Aussie Broadband’s Plush Toy

A plush toy order like this one has more moving parts than a standard branded item. The toy itself needs to be well-made, the miniature t-shirt needs to carry the logo cleanly at a small scale, and everything needs to arrive in good shape. So from the start, we treated the brief with that level of care.

We confirmed the product and branding requirements first, then sent a free quote and moved into artwork preparation. Getting the Symbio logo onto a small-format garment like a plush T-shirt requires a tighter artwork setup than a standard print job, since the text and icon need to hold at a reduced size without losing legibility. Our team handled the mock-up and submitted it for sign-off before production began. Once Caly approved everything, the toys went into production, and we shipped the finished order from our Sydney warehouse.

The finished toy is a green crocodile with a soft plush body, embroidered facial features, and a dark green miniature T-shirt with the Symbio wordmark and icon printed in white across the chest.

Client’s Note After the Order Landed

Caly wrote to Rose after the office confirmed receipt:

“Our office admin just confirmed they arrived, thank you so much for all your help.”

Rose Christine Escalante, one of our production managers, managed the order from brief to delivery, keeping communication clear and the process moving at each stage, with Regina Mangubat, the account manager who handled this order, supporting the account throughout to ensure a clear point of contact, making the process far less stressful for the buyer.

What Makes Plush Toys Make a Perfect Corporate Gift

Most branded merchandise gets used and eventually put away. A good plush toy tends to stay out. People put them on desks, give them to kids, or keep them as part of an office display, which means the branding stays visible in settings that most promotional products never reach.

For a campaign like this one, where the toy carries a specific brand name on its shirt, the item also works as a conversation starter. Anyone who sees the toy and doesn’t recognise the name asks about it, which is exactly what a campaign item is supposed to do. Ordering in bulk brings the per-unit cost down, and because plush toys are a less common corporate gift than pens or tote bags, they tend to get more attention when they arrive.
