A few weeks ago in Sydney Martin Place on the 7th, of September the Taronga Zoo held a public awareness day for endangered animals. It was a non for profit event aimed at raising both money and funds for animals that are in danger of being extinct. The event itself was awesome simply because the sights and sounds of the little animals that were on show was simply delightful and totally unexpected in a sea of office workers.

Check out some of the pictures that we took.

Marketing Merchandise Used To Create More Visual Awareness

To create awareness for the entire display, the folks at Taronga Zoo took up position right in the middle of busy Martin Place. Some of the products they used to draw even more attention included:

- A custom branded tent
- Pull Up Banners
- Furry little animals of course (but not exactly what I would call merchandise)
- Flyers
- Posters
- Staff with embroidered and printed uniforms from caps, shorts, shirts and jackets or professionally branded

These are the type of products that we can supply to make good events awesome.

Fund Raising Promotional Products

The purpose of the outdoor marketing stunt was not only to highlight the dangers that many of animals face but it also included solutions to help save them. Unfortunately to help these animals funds are required. To help bolster funding they like many other charities utilized merchandise. Using merchandise helps in creating a fun atmosphere where donors receive something in return. This benefits both the recipient as well as the organiser as not only does the recipient get a free gift but the organiser gets some much needed exposure about their organisation and their cause. Some of the products we saw at the marketing event included:

- Heaps of Soft Toys
- Custom Magnets
- Shirt Pins
- Branded Orange Pens
- Promotional Notebooks
- Personalised Keyrings
