Araluen Botanic Park in Perth wanted to enhance the autumn school holidays experience with a fun, creative nature trail for kids. Partnering with Cubic Promote, they ordered 3,000 branded crayon packs featuring the Araluen logo. These packs were given to children who participated in the self-guided trail or visited the activity corner at the entry pavilion.

As kids used the crayons to complete leaf rubbings, colour bird outlines, and sketch the garden’s beauty, parents appreciated the quiet time it offered, allowing them to explore the park while their children engaged in creative play.

Results:

• 5% boost in return visits, with families noting they would return for future events based on the positive experience

The branded crayon packs provided a unique, interactive experience that kept children engaged and added lasting value to the park visit, encouraging longer stays and repeat visits.
