A power bank is a portable charger designed to recharge your electronic devices when you're out of the home or office and away from a power supply outlet. Industry Standard USB Connections

All our portable battery units utilise USB connectors to charge the battery. Additional cables are available as an optional extra including USB-C, Micro USB cable, lightning connectors and others when required.

• Type A USB port: These are the large USB power connectors you would recognise from older computers and wall sockets. Most power banks, including faves like our outback power bank or classic bamboo power bank feature a dual USB output that is inclusive of a Type A and Type C port.
• Type C micro USB port: These are the smaller, narrower USB connectors on newer devices and can be used to get enough power from a small device or laptop while connected to your power bank, or they can connect directly to your Android phone.
• Lightning connectors: These are the Apple-specific connectors, usually available on a built in cable with power bank devices. Simply plug them into your iOS device and then attach the other end (USB A or USB C) to the USB port on a wall unit or laptop to connect for charging or data exchange.

Can I take my power bank on a plane?

Yes, power banks  can go on planes but they must be packed in your carry-on luggage if they contain a lithium-ion battery. This owes to the fact that lithium-ion batteries are classed as potentially hazardous flammable materials, according to the Transportation Security Administration. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) does not allow any battery on board an aircraft that exceeds 27,000 mAh in capacity.
