A handy ribbon marker that matches the colour of the cover can be positioned on your current work page, allowing you to easily open the notebook at the page you want.

The notebook stays securely closed with an elastic closure band that runs vertically down the side and can be slipped off to open the book. Placed on the outside, centre spine is a functional pen loop, made from elastic. It allows you to slip a standard size pen through the loop, where it will remain securely fastened and readily available.
