Android are releasing two new phones tomorrow-the Samsung Galaxy S6 and HTC One M9. So with that in mind I have compiled a list of the top 6 smartphones in the world. If you are looking for the hottest new phone, this is a good month to make that purchase!

I’m an iPhone person and nothing really compares to my iPhone 6 but I still appreciate the other options that are out there. Check out my list below:

6. HTC One M9

HTC's newest flagship phone, the One M9, is slightly better than last year’s model. It has a better camera, slightly tweaked design, and faster processor.

5. Samsung Galaxy Note 4

 If you’re looking for a phablet this is the best Android has to offer. With it’s 5.7 inch screen, the display is possibly the best ever seen on a smartphone. It is much sturdier than its predecessors as it boasts a metal frame around the edges. Definitely one to consider if it is a phablet you are after.

4. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge

This is a variation on the flagship phone. The only thing that differentiates it from the Galaxy S6 is the curved display which looks pretty cool.

3. Samsung Galaxy S6

This is considered the best phone Samsung has ever made and the best Android phone available. The screen and camera are the best ever seen on a smartphone and it is also the Samsung’s first phone with a premium metal and glass design. If I wasn’t a dedicated Apple customer this would be the phone I would choose.

2. iPhone 6

Unless you want a big-screen phablet, the iPhone 6 is the best phone out there. It should certainly be your first choice when purchasing a new smartphone. Apple have got it very right with this design. They’ve added a larger screen-4.7 inches. The glass curves so it feels less rigid than the designs have been since the 4S. The camera is  incredible, not just because of the clear images but because it has plenty of other features including automatic focus and it also doesn't shake when moving. The app selection is always superior with apple and the iPhone 6 is no exception.

 1. iPhone 6 Plus

If you have a little bit of extra money to spend on your new smart phone then the iPhone 6 Plus is a must buy! With a 5.5-inch screen it may seem a bit awkward but once you become accustomed to it, you won’t go for anything smaller again. The battery life is incredible and it is much thinner and easier to handle compared to the other phablets that are on the market.
