Ice cream is the ultimate indulgence for most of us in Cubic Promote. We have a few products that resemble ice cream such as our stress shaped ice cream cone. It is therefore with much delight when we came across an Ice Creamery in England called Lick Me I'm Delicious that specializes in weird and wonderful creations such as:
- Roast Beef - Salted Whiskey - Cheddar Cheese
amongst others. Basically creations that are very much akin to Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. The one creation that caught our eye that our eye which was developed by the owner Charlie Francis. He has created a flavour that glows in the dark. How did he do it? Well the inspiration came through Jellyfish. Using something called synthesized jellyfish proteins that is an element that causes deep sea fish to produce light Charlie Francis developed something that is quite special.
Every month we sell over 10,000 stressballs easily. Which sometimes makes us question, wouldn't it be cool if someone took all these stress balls and created a gigantic swimming pool of stress balls to swim in? It would be similar to something out of a Scrooge McDuck comic book and it would be super cool. Therefore I was delighted to come across an article where someone obviously had my thoughts too and instead of just twiddle they actually went out and did something about it.
The Kerry Hotel in Shanghai set a record by converting a large pool into a ball pit with a million balls.
Among the participants were 300 cancer patients, finding therapeutic enjoyment in the activity.
Such ball pits offer multiple benefits, including physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and therapeutic advantages.
