  1. These Printed Umbrellas Will Delight You

Have you heard of the Senz Umbrella? They are a unique umbrella which resembles a kite. The shape of this umbrella is quite delightful. However, it is more than just a pretty umbrella. The shape aids in it being aero dynamic so that it is virtually impossible for the umbrella to flip in strong winds. In fact winds up of up to 70 miles per hour are not a problem for this umbrella. The longer tail also allows the umbrella to naturally provide more shelter for the user, as most umbrellas typically will leave your backside exposed to the rain.

A Designers Graphic Touch To Senz

This season, Senz has combined with a Berlin designer by the name of Yoske Nishiumi to take this unique umbrella and apply a series of prints that are simply amazing. Check out some of the amazing printed

  2. Funniest Product Labeling Mistakes

I love seeing new products everyday in the course of my job. What I love seeing even more, is when people and businesses make huge mistakes in labeling their promotional items or when they are packaging their products. Here are some of the funniest boo boo's that I have come across this year.

    • Mistakes in branding and packaging can lead to hilarious but damaging results.
    • Accuracy, quality, compliance, and consistency are essential aspects of labeling to maintain a professional image.
    • Taking the time to verify all aspects of your labels helps protect your brand's reputation and prevents costly mistakes.

    Branding Lost In Translation

I know it is not nice to laugh at other people's error, especially when English is not their first english for these businesses. This does not stop the fact that these examples are

  5. Promotional Travel Cups for Winter

Being in the thick of Winter is not my definition of fun in Australia.  Unlike other countries winter in Australia is a big downer for several reasons. Our beautiful country is dry.  Seriously dry.  Winter makes it worse.  Turning on any heat appliance makes it twice as bad. We love sports.  Being so seriously cold makes it impossible for me to play sport as my fingers are numb and the cold temperatures leads to injuries. These are the reasons why this winter season promotional travel cups have been so popular. One thing to keep in mind with promotional travel cups is that they are not all the same.  The key difference with travel cups is the insulation, and we will discuss them in this post.

    1. Custom travel cups build brand recognition.
    2. Metal cups keep drinks hot longer.
    3. Ideal for

  6. Promotional Rubber Ducks Lost At Sea

I stumbled upon an old news article.  Apparently a few years ago, all the way back in 1992 a cargo ship on its regular run between Japan and America encountered a bit of a mishap.  Some cargo containers fell overboard and they were filled with Rubber duckies.  In fact there was 28,000 poor ducks that floated around.  Some ended up in Hawaii, South America, Alaska the Torres Strait Islands and Australia of course.  Astonishingly some ended up in Scotland and even the Arctic Ice.  What is even more amazing is that apparently there is a water current in the North Pacific Ocean.  This ucrrent of water is like a whirlpool which sucks up anything that goes into it and basically spins!  It is quite plausible that thousands of ducks have been swimming around in circles for over 20 years. Promotional Rubber Duckies are a key favourite promotional item of ours here in Cubic Promote.  Rubber duckies have always reminded us of childhood and we think

  7. Long Term Marketing Items For Brand Names

Most categories of promotional products that we carry have a huge range from budget branded items to expensive premium products. Generally speaking the more expensive the item is for each category then the more superior in quality and design you would expect to see. With quality comes longevity. So if you opt for a more expensive printed mouse pad such as a welded one or a compendium which is made from full grain leather as opposed to a synthetic one the more premium option will give you increase in useful life for the merchandise.

So what does this mean when you are selecting a product for your company or product or service?

Well if you are marketing a company or event(it could be a brand new one or one that has a lot of heritage) then it would make sense to opt for a higher quality product at a lower quantity level as opposed to a lower quality promotional product at a higher volume level. Why? well if you expect the same brand
