Apparently, such a day exists — the national lost sock memorial day. As the name implies, if you have ever lost a sock (especially those stylish custom-printed ones, that have a unique design, that renders the other sock totally useless), then this day is for you.

This national day is officially recognised in America, but really I cannot see why it shouldn't also be celebrated (or mourned) in Australia. Everyone wears socks, and almost everyone would have lost a sock at one point in their lives. When a sock is lost, the remaining single sock becomes very sad and lonely indeed.

It is thus our job, to ensure that single socks around the world, rekindle their joy (and usefulness), through the National Lost Sock Memorial Day.

History of the Humble Mint

I did a bit of research, the humble mint has a deep history. In ancient times in Egypt, when people died and were mummified, a mixture which resembles a modern day mint would be placed inside a persons mouth to reduce the amount of smell.
